It provides a tailored background designed to present driving conditions and scenarios for safe, repeatable practice. With its comprehensive replication of road physics, accurate modelling of vehicle functionality & handling and detailed depiction of environments & conditions, MOTUM World delivers a highly immersive, realistic experience.

The MOTUM World synthetic environment is fully expandable and flexible, and adaptable to any land vehicle training regime. It features a library of AI-controlled vehicles, environment assets and physics models with the ability to generate more to reflect the diversity of the required experience.
Environments
- Accurate Australian landscapes, road rules and road types.
- Recreations of specific Australian roads and the ability to integrate seamlessly with the existing synthetic road network.
- Features include traffic lights, traffic signs, road lanes, slip lanes, roundabouts, potholes, speed bumps and other surface variations.
- All seasons, all times of day and weather conditions.
- Other environment types such as mining tunnels, port docks and ships, etc.
Vehicles
- The capability to produce accurate vehicle models in terms of both the rendering (visual appearance) and vehicle dynamics and behaviour.

Scenarios and Lesson Plans

Data & Analysis
MOTUM World incorporates versatile data acquisition and analysis capabilities customisable to the highly-varied requirements of individual industries. For example, the assessment priorities for driver training of port-based RoRo vehicles is vastly different to those required for emergency response training, and different again to those of pre-learner and L-P programs.
User determined metrics include:
- Results and Telemetry output, with data analytics
- Results that are 100% objective – log the performance identically for all students.
- Pass/fail criteria set individually for client requirements
- Measure almost any performance criteria eg speed, fuel usage, lane discipline etc.
